The Fresh Produce Consortium is the UK’s fresh produce trade association.
The FPC is widely recognised as the voice of the UK industry. Its work encompasses all aspects of both domestic and global supply chains of the fruit, vegetable and flower industry.
Each year, the Fresh Produce Consortium runs the FPC Awards for all those involved in the fresh produce industry, from science, to farming, to supply chain and to retailing.
We at Scorpion Vision have been involved in the development of fresh produce automated processing systems. Where there is a heavy reliance on manual workers to cut and trim vegetables and fruit before packing, we have been working to deliver robotics and automation with sophisticated camera technology that can do the work of a human.
